1) Try reminding yourself that you are not alone in this - thousands of young people are heading back to the very strange, new “norm”. Everyone is in it together!

2) Go in with an open mind -  you might enjoy heading back! We have been in lockdown for a while, a sense of routine can be so helpful for our mental wellbeing

3) It’s completely ok if you struggle on some days - it’s a strange situation to be heading into. Returning to school/college/sixth form can be challenging regardless of whether there is a pandemic or not

4) Remember to ask for help if you’re struggling academically or personally - your school system is there to support you and ensure you are well. Workloads can become overwhelming and there is no shame asking for help and support
