Campaigning for Young Somerset

Campaigning is about creating change – it’s about influence, giving voice to a cause, getting the message heard. Charities campaign to create positive change in the world.

The impact is the real-life change that is created by a campaign – the difference it makes in people’s lives.

At Young Somerset, we know that campaigning can help get the voice of young people heard and represented; it can highlight emerging issues that young people are experiencing and bring them to the attention of decision-makers; it can demonstrate clear evidence of need; and it can lead to sustainable social change.

We recognise the value of volunteers who support us to campaign for the needs of young people in Somerset – there are many different ways of campaigning, but the key requirement is commitment and passion from campaigners.
