We have a new exciting opportunity within our Community Wellbeing Team at Young Somerset. In line with the governments drive to increase access to early intervention for mental health services, Young Somerset is commissioned by the Somerset CCG to deliver early intervention Wellbeing and Mental Health services across the county.

As a Community Wellbeing Link Worker (CWLW) Assistant your role is to support our Community Wellbeing Practitioners and Link Workers support children and young people (5–18 years old) with mild to moderate mental health difficulties,

particularly relating to anxiety, depression and behavioural difficulties. As a CWLW Assistant you will help to triage our Requests for Support, manage the waiting list and provide administration support to the team.

As a CWLW you will liaise with CWPs and a range of agencies including GPs, Education and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and be an integral part to the smooth running of the service.

This post of CWLW opens the opportunity, not compulsory to train as a Link Worker and also CWP (dependent on eligibility and availability).

We are currently working and delivering services virtually and face to face across Somerset.

This part time role will be based in our office at Edington Somerset (with some home working). Please note travel across the whole geographical county of Somerset may be required at times triaging our requests for support, managing the waiting list and providing administration support to the team.

Salary: £18,933 pro rata

Hours: 22.2 per week (part-time)
