Young Somerset is seeking to recruit a Graduate Project & Innovation Officer, to support on the delivery of both current and future projects. You will need outstanding organisational skills and an eye for detail, to coordinate projects that aim to make a real difference to lives of children and young people across Somerset.   

As a key member of the new Innovation Team you will be instrumental in ensuring the continued success of a range of Young Somerset’s projects and initiatives. You will be able to handle a diverse workload, and balance working simultaneously across multiple projects.  You will be capable of planning and coordinating projects, from start-up through to business-as-usual delivery; supporting managers to turn ideas for new pieces of work into tangible project plans. 

You will be a dynamic team player, with a passion for turning ideas into realities. With an understanding of project management principles and methods, you will be meticulous in creating realistic project timelines, anticipating risks, and proactively problem solving as issues arise. 

We are currently operating through a blend of digital and face to face work. The role may also require some countywide travel so access to transport is essential.

Salary: £24,491 - £25,481 

Hours: 37 hours per week 

Contract: Permanent
