THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!

Young Somerset's Rural Music Network Project is excited to be launching the Live Music Streaming Programme!

The Rural Music Network Project are looking for all kinds of New Up And Coming Young Musicians and Music Acts (Including the ones that signed up to the 3rd Tour Programme) to take part in a 3 month (April – June 2020) Live Streaming Programme.

The Music Project has entered into a new stage for creative thinking in the music sector and we need your help to maintain the flow of musical ideas and live performance through the growing medium of live streamed events.

This programme will provide young musicians with a platform to live stream performances to an online audience as well as gain support and guidance on different aspects of being an artist + 2 days free recording time at Bert Jansch Studios.

As for the events, we aim to stream multiple artists from different locations across Somerset in a gig format, here on Facebook. This adaptation of a traditional live event is going to be an exciting experiment as well as a great opportunity for young people to continue spreading their ideas and musical talents.

If you’re interested in taking part in the programme or would like more information, please contact our Project Leader at [email protected].

To apply, please send the following to jamesbrookes@youngsomerset.org.uk:

· A video with audio of your rehearsal.

· A written expression of interest including a description of your music act and why you’d like to join the programme.
