Calum's Story Unemployed to Kickstarter to Assistant Manager - Read Calum's journey at Bold & Brave! If you've popped into Bold & Brave, I'm sure you'll recognise this friendly face! This is Calum - who's been part of the Bold & Brave team since day 1. Calum joined us via the kickstart programme and he's been an amazing asset to the team - getting stuck into the role with enthusiasm, learning a lot along the way and really growing in confidence. We're so excited to announce that he has recently been promoted to Assistant Manager!! Calum says: "I was a Kickstarter who joined last August after being out of employment for 3+ years due to my mental health. After coming a long way in these past six months by gaining confidence and developing new skills, I am now a permanent member of the team as Assistant Retail Manager. I have found a role that I am extremely passionate about, which is being able to help young people gain the confidence and skills working in the shop, so that they can get involved with the community and showcase the amazing products young people make in Somerset. I am excited to be a part of Bold & Brave and further develop it to become an amazing community space for young people to collaborate and make connections."
